Two men have been arrested after a man was seriously injured in an assault at Southend. Police were called to Clifftown Road at about 3.15am on Sunday, August 23 after reports that a man had been found with facial injuries. The victim, a local man aged in his 20s, was taken to Southend General Hospital and is still receiving treatment.
